About the Website

This is a REAL ESTATE classified ads website, run by a PHP script,  that allows users to post ads, for a fee if desired, and for surfers to browse the ads and view houses based on criteria they are looking for, like price or bedrooms or bathrooms.   There are categories on the left which include Apartments, houses, room and studios...  More categories can be added.  There is also an advanced search option if you know more specifically what you are looking for. 

 Viewers can search the database for houses based on many criteria including.  Price range, bedrooms,  bathrooms,  listings by a certain agent, city state and country...   There website also has the most recent posts on the bottom and a section on the left side for featured houses. Once looking at an ad, there is a mapquest button to show directions to the house and a pictures link to see all the pictures of the house.  

Users submit houses for sale.  They need to register in order to submit an ad.  This data gets collected in your database and you can view or edit it in the admin panel.  Once they register, they get their login and password emailed to them for future reference. There is also a ‘lost password’ button in case they forget it and lose the email.   They have the option to edit their profile, add pictures to their profile and manage their listings.

 When they want to create a new ad, they fill out a form with all the data for the house for sale or rent.  They also have the option to upload picture files.  Then they need to pick one of the packages set up to pay for the ad.  You can change them or add more.   The prices can be changed in the admin section.  Then payment is done through Paypal . 

 The admin section allows you to add, edit or delete anything in your databases.  This includes, all the listings,  categories, agents,  email, website settings, prices, banners and the admin password.  This allows for ease of MySQL database maintenance and gives you full control over your site.  You can go in and delete ads you do not want or agents you do not want and so on.  You can also add new categories in case you want to feature another type house or something like that.

The real estate website allows home buyers and renters to browse available properties for free. The property listings are detailed with property features, photos, agent information and driving directions linked to MapQuest.
Agents and home sellers can also list their properties for a fee. After a new real estate agent was registered, he/she is able to select and buy a package depending on how many offers they would like to to post and for the length of time they would like to post them. Payment can be done via PayPal and registration is automated. The agent will receive a few emails - 10 days before his account will expire, 5 days, 1 day. 24 hours after his account expiration date, all his listings and his account will be deleted automatically. The agents are able to upload their banners too. Detailed statistics are provided for each of them.
