This is a classified ads website, run by a
PHP script, that
allows users to post motorcycle ads, for a fee if desired, and
for surfers to browse the ads and view motorcycles based on
criteria they are looking for, like price or make and model. Right now, it is set to charge $5.00 per ad.
There are categories on the left which include Classics,
Dyna, Imports, Sportsters and more...
More categories can be added.
There is also an advanced search option if you know more
specifically what you are looking for.
Viewers can search the database for
autos based on many criteria including.
Price range, vehicle year,
type, listings
by a certain agent, city state and country.
There website also has the most recent posts on the
bottom and a section on the left side for featured autos.
Users submit motorcycles for sale.
They need to register in order to submit an ad.
This data gets collected in your database and you can
view or edit it in the admin panel.
Once they register, they get their login and password
emailed to them for future reference. There is also a ‘lost
password’ button in case they forget it and lose the email. They have the option to edit their profile, add
pictures to their profile and manage their listings.
When they want to create a new ad,
they fill out a form with all the data for the auto for sale.
They also have the option to upload picture files.
Then they need to pick one of the packages set up to pay
for the ad. You can
change them or add more.
The three packages set up now are the Start me up ($15),
Grow up($25) and Shake up($35) which all offer a
time period of their membership and the number of offers they
are allowed. The
average price listing comes out to about $5.00. The
prices and names can be changed in the admin section.
Then payment is done through Paypal .
The admin section allows you to add,
edit or delete anything in your databases.
This includes, all the listings,
categories, agents,
email, website settings, prices, banners and the admin
password. This
allows for ease of MySQL database maintenance and gives you full
control over your site. You
can go in and delete ads you do not want or agents you do not
want and so on. You can also add new categories in case you want to feature
another type of motorcycles, like motorbikes or something like
that.
